JELLYFISH JOURNEYWORK
Coaching rooted in grief, guided by truth, open to whatever is ready to heal.
There’s nothing to fix. You were never meant to grieve alone. And it may be time to meet your grief.
Life has a way of pulling us away from ourselves.
Grief, transition, burnout, identity collapse – even joy can feel disorienting when we are not anchored.
At Jellyfish Journeywork, we do not rush to fix or figure things out.
We slow down.
We drop the story and the sense of urgency.
We listen to what the body already knows.
We gently uncover what is ready to be seen – grief, fear, desire, or something unnamed – and meet it with compassion, not pressure.
This is a space to feel what you have been carrying.
To remember who you are beneath the survival strategies.
To honor those strategies as incredible adaptations that kept you safe, and may now be ready to be set down.
To let your healing unfold at the pace of your nervous system.
We walk with whatever is present – grief, growth, stuckness, joy, disconnection – and invite it back into relationship.
Here, insight becomes integration.
Experience becomes embodied.
And you are never asked to do it alone.
Join the team. If we can do this, we can do anything.,
My story
I am Avery — a grief coach, somatic guide, and trauma-informed practitioner. I walk with people through loss and love by starting in the body, where so much of what has been carried is still waiting to be felt. This work was born from personal loss and rebuilt through ceremony, sobriety, and community. I do not offer answers or fixes. I offer companionship and a deeper relationship with what is already inside you.
At Jellyfish Journeywork, we support people through grief, growth, and the deep work of becoming.
Whether you are moving through loss, navigating a life transition, working with medicine, or simply seeking reconnection — our offerings are here to meet you where you are.
We offer 1:1 grief coaching, couples support, psycholytic integration, and community workshops — all rooted in nervous system awareness, somatic presence, and the belief that grief, in all its forms, can be one of our greatest teachers.
Explore pathways for healing, reflection, and honest transformation — at your own pace, with care.
Avery is absolutely the knowledgeable guide you want to work with! As a mental health therapist in private practice, I can get stuck in my head about my own mental health and personal growth past my trauma history. Working with Avery in guided journeys has allowed my mind to get past barriers and meet my whole self in love and healing. Her authentic approach and non-judgemental nature make it easy for my mind to feel safe and held in the journey space, which can otherwise feel too vulnerable for me. I highly recommend her group circles, her individual journeys, and any consulting about journeywork, in general. I will always hold gratitude in my heart for the growth I've been able to have after journeying with Avery.
True Kildare, LCSW (she/her)
My journey experience with Avery was so much more powerful than what I ever could have imagined. As someone who has struggled with anxiety and depression for most of my life, I have tried countless therapies and medicines with minimal results. My journey session was exactly what I have been needing to take me out of my body and mind and truly connect with a perspective that is so much greater than myself. Avery is a phenomenal guide and created a safe container to let go throughout all stages of the experience - from prep work to the medicine session and integration work. She has a beautiful gift for anticipating your needs during your journey, and played a vital role in helping me release energy that was no longer serving me. This is a medicine and an approach that I recommended everyone explore at least once, as a way to heal not just yourself, but the collective. This is what our world desperately needs right now and Avery is answering the calling. I look forward to future sessions with her where I can continue to explore myself and the universe in a safe and supportive space.”

I attended Averys workshop on grief and I found it and her so very moving. Avery has a strength and vulnerability that allows her to really connect with everyone there. She has a very unique way of working with grief that I had never encountered before. I’m still having benefits from the night I attended and it’s not usual for things to be able to penetrate my sorrow enough for there to be some lasting light. Thank you for the work you’re doing Avery and I highly recommend her workshops.
